The freshest cup of coffee ever
Today I went to Sweet Maria's and bought some green beans. They're cheap; 1lb for $7.
To roast, I threw them in the biggest pan I have, cranked up the heat about three quarters of the way up, and stirred.
After 15 minutes of non-stop stirring and taking the 9v battery out of the smoke detector, I ended up with a really nice dark roast. You can still see the steam coming off the beans, they're hot!
Once the stream is done rising, I dropped those bad boys in my Chemex and brewed. The bloom on this brew was almost like an explosion.
A few minutes later I was drinking the freshest cup of coffee ever.
Cheers!
